While the main bits of this shoot were determined by #theuniversedecides, I wanted to play up this idea of hope and that it is our job as individuals to reflect positivity and brightness around us. I imagined Jill as a some sort of mermaid goddess figure who finds this bright orb of positivity. She isn’t sure what her discovery is, so she plays with it: tossing it around, dancing with it, etc. Once she realizes the joy it brings, she worries that it will be taken away, so she holds it tightly to her body. Upon holding it closely, however, she realizes that this orb of positivity was not meant to be hoarded and constrained, but rather lifted up and shared with the world.
